Changing Your Online Status
Your online status tells other people if you are available for online chats. Each online status is indicated by a unique icon and a customizable online status message. You can change your online status at any time.
Follow these steps to change your online status:
- Choose an online status in any of the following three ways:
- Choose an online status from the Options menu.
- Choose an online status from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the Sametime Connect window.
- If you have chosen to edit your online status message every time your online status changes, the Edit Message window appears. You can:
- Click OK to leave the default message.
- Enter a new message or select a different message from the drop-down list, and click OK.
- Clear the "Edit message every time..." check box.
